We currently have two exciting roles with a clinical trial unit who are an international leader in the field of clinical trials, based in Leeds.
This unit is one of the largest in the UK conducting national and international randomised and early phase clinical trials in a variety of clinical fields. Their main aim is to support the challenge of changing clinical practice for the better and past results and current work have already helped to do this.
Their results inform the academic development of this specialised field of clinical research on a national and international level. Particularly, they specialise in complex phase III trials, efficient phase I/II trials, biomarker driven designs, seamless phase II/III designs, adaptive designs and the development and evaluation of complex interventions.
There are 2 available positions:
- Data Manager = Join the team and take responsibility for the data management of specific clinical trials from set-up and recruitment through to trial closure and analysis. This will involve the collection, computerisation and validation of data, creating trial specific database specifications and supervising data management staff. Apply here.
- Senior Clinical Trial Manager = Join the team and take responsibility for coordinating specific clinical trials from set-up and recruitment through to trial closure and analysis. Directly co-ordinate large multi-centre trials and/or lead a portfolio trial management team, ensuring international quality standards in trial management for the projects/portfolio by supervising complex trials and associated trial co-ordination staff across the therapeutic area.
