It has been announced that StevenageBioScience Catalyst (SBC), the UK’s first open innovation bioscience campus, will be partnering with Kurma Life Sciences to help boost investment in Bioscience companies.
Kurma Life Sciences is a key player in venture capital, development capital and technology transfer, operating in the field of life sciences (biotechnology, health, medical sciences, nutrition and environmental sciences). It operates through Kurma Biofund I venture capital and by strategic partnerships with the most highly reputable European biotechnology and medical research centres.
The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to enable them to work in partnership to help establish funding for new life sciences companies. The two companies will work together in sourcing investments from both academia and the pharmaceutical industry.
