The REC has released the latest results of their employer survey ‘Jobs Outlook’ which makes for positive reading for job seekers within the scientific and clinical fields. The survey, which saw 400 UK-wide employers participate, provided results such as:

  • Nearly half of all employers (48%) plan to increase the use of contract employees in the short term (3 -6 months)
  • More than 75% of all employers expect to recruit additional permanent staff in the medium term (within 1 year)
  • Only 9% of UK hirers have spare capacity to take on more work with their current staffing levels
  •  More than 1 in 4 employers state that they will give their staff apay rise this year

These encouraging results are reflected within CK Clinical where we have seen a 10.3%
