Process Safety Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Process Safety Technician to join a Chemical company at their site based in Duxford on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The Company:

Our client is a global company that manufactures a range of polymers, performance products and advanced materials. 

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Duxford and will require you to be on site 5 days per week.

Process Engineer Role:

Your main duties will be:

• Provide support on a range of process safety activities across the site.
• Act as the process safety point of contact for process improvement projects.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Design and optimisation of process safety systems.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A degree level education in chemical engineering.
• Prior work experience within process safety within manufacturing, ideally chemical manufacturing. 
• Experience designing failure mechanisms and protection systems.
• Familiarity with risk identification and reduction techniques.
