Associate Principal Engineer, Automation
CK Group are recruiting for an Associate Principal Engineer working within Automation, to join a global leader in life sciences. This key role will be to lead the engineering team at the site in Bend, Oregon.

ContractType: Full-time, permanent position
Job responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with automation team colleagues, communicate openly, and foster a learning environment for the team
- Support 24/7 operation of GMP process and facility equipment and control systems with the goal of maximum uptime.
- Provide technical leadership in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of automated process and facility equipment and control systems
- Support the full system lifecycle for process automation and control systems including design, assessment, selection, commissioning, and validation
- Lead preparation and execution of FAT, SAT, Commissioning & Validation protocols related to process automation and control systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), Associates Degree (minimum) in Industrial Controls / Automation / Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Experience working with industrial automation, instrumentation and controls, preferably ina manufacturing environment
- Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries preferred
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI development environment, Studio 5000 and supporting FactoryTalk systems (FT Directory, AssetCentre, Alarm & Events, etc.)
- Knowledge of 2D CAD systems to support electrical and system documentation preferred
- Familiarity with SCADA and Building Automation Systems preferred
