Real World Evidence Lead

CK Group are recruiting a Real World Evidence Lead to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a 6 month contract. The role has been determined as Inside IR35, so working options of PAYE or Umbrella company are available.

Real World Evidence Lead Role:

Our client is seeking a purpose-driven, experienced, and passionate Real World Evidence Leadto join their Medical Affairs team. As a Real World Evidence Lead, you will be expected to work hand in hand with external partners and internal teams, passionate about using technology and data driven approaches to help improve the lives of patients with a strong sense of customer empathy to care deeply about customer problems and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the definition of the RWE value proposition and source mapping
• Planning and execution of value creation initiatives and/or value maintenance aligned with business needs
• Ensuring RWE/D platforms are aligned to business strategy and portfolio needs
• Design and implementation of local RWE/D projects with key external partners
• Provide subject matter expertise for data collection, solutions and curation. Advising teams and stakeholders on best practices, quality levels required and proposing innovative solutions. Ensure a high quality of data and compliance with applicable pharma industry regulations and standards

Your Background:

• In depth knowledge of UK health system RWE bodies, data sets, sources and use cases/ applications, identification of evidence gaps
• Expertise in real world data collection methodologies such technical expertise in electronic health records
• Experience working with different modalities of real world data i.e. genomic data, image data, clinical data (EHR, cohort, survey, etc)
• Experience with running RWE studies, selecting appropriate analysis and data visualisation
• Comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships and creating external partnerships (including information governance, data sharing and transfer)
• Basic knowledge of epidemiology, observational data research, advanced biostatistics/ computing in R to support translation of projects to implementation
