CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Specialist (GxP) to join a world leading pharmaceutical company who are based in Hertfordshire on a 12 month contract basis.

This role can be home based but you must be available to travel to the office for any meetings required.

This role will be inside IR35, so working options PAYE (Up to £38 per hour) and Umbrella (up to £50 per hour) are available for the right experience.

The Company: Our client is a globally renowned pharmaceutical company with their UK Pharmaceutical Head Office situated in Welwyn, Hertfordshire. The site is accessible by motorways & airports as well as being a 30 minute train ride to London, access is easy. There are well over 1000 people occupying their site in Welwyn.

Quality Specialist (GxP) role:

The main purpose of the role will be to:

  • Implement the controlled document strategy for all regulatory compliance standards & processes related to clinical development and pharmacovigilance.
  • Develop Global Procedural Documents such as SOPs, Policies and Work Instructions.
  • Support established GxP Global Procedural Documents throughout to all of the development related organisational enterprises to ensure consistent GxP processes for related to clinical development and pharmacovigilance.

Your Background:

To succeed in this role, you will come from a Life Sciences background; including experience in a quality-related field, preferably in pharmaceutical development working in a GxP regulated area.

  • Experience in preparation, development and administration of GxP standards and processes.
  • Experience working cross functionally in a global team environment.
  • Experience of a quality driven role in either clinical development or Pharmacovigilance (GCP/GVP).

Location:

Central London with a blend of office based and remote working. There may also be some business travel

Your Background:

  • BSc minimum – ideally candidates will hold an advanced degree (e.g., PharmD., MD, PhD)
  • Oncologyexperience within a pharmaceutical/bio-tech company (medical department/non-promotional)
  • Sufficient scientific expertise to understand the oncology therapy area in terms of emerging scientific trends, drug development, market demands and patient needs.
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs and forming networks
  • Demonstrate flair, enthusiasm, innovation and an ability to be a self-starter.
  • Low ego with strong EQ skills – able to network and interact with very senior global oncologists and endear them to the Ellipses mission
