Russell Oakley at CK Clinical is recruiting for a Neonatal Specialist/Hospital Specialist to join a healthcare company at their site based in Manchester on a 12 month FTC.
Our client is a global healthcare company specialising in a number of therapy areas, of which one is neonatology which is where this role sits. The role will cover Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome (NRDS) in premature babies.
The role is based at our client's site in Manchester which is easily commutable from all the major train stations in the city and from the airport.
The main purpose of the role will be: To achieve sales targets/growth and business objectives contained within the marketing plans. Account segmentation and prioritisation. To put in place robust planning practices at a territory level for specialist neonatal hospital products being promoted. Develop a territory business plan with short and long term goals to achieve sales targets. Implement plan, including the use of tracking mechanisms to identify variances to plan and taking appropriate action to eliminate negative variances. Analyse data to identify both prioritised account planning and stakeholder influencing strategies Develop detailed account plans to influence product awareness, adoption and funding inclusions. These should include call activity plans and how to move customers along the adoption curve. To maintain accurate customer records and detailed evolving business objectives Build a neonatal customer strategy. Identification of key issues involved in driving usage of promoted products at a local and regional level, and provide/facilitate appropriate customer/business value based solutions for meeting these needs. Manage with your line manager the strategy and alignment of national organisations such as the SMC and AWMSG To effectively plan and prioritise weekly activities and ensure your line manager is aware of schedules. Ensure all administration is completed accurately and within time-scales set out by your line manager and Head Office e.g. monthly report. Organise and/or actively participate in meetings/conferences at both local and international level. Financial management of AV budget to achieve sales targets set out in the business plan. To keep clinical knowledge updated with regard to all key therapeutic areas in order to competently conduct prescribing reviews and answer clinical queries from customers. To ensure that all activities are performed with strict adherence to the ABPI Code of Practice and in accordance with professional codes of practice. In line with annual objectives, contribute and support the UK Affiliate in its pursuit to become more sustainable, ensuring that you and/or your teams commit to and deliver at least 2 initiatives each year
Preferably a graduate in life science Minimum of 2 A 'levels and 5 GCSE's including Biology. ABPI qualified Experience in pharmaceutical sales, including substantial hospital sales experience in speciality therapy areas. Proven track record of sales success through business partnering and prioritised account development with particular emphasis on a multi-disciplinary team approach. Evidence of successfully working with funding of high value products within the NHS environment. Established record of project leadership and cross functional working Established record of building and delivering prioritised business plans aligned to both the organisation and customer needs. Excellent analytical, negotiation and influencing skills. Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Good organisational skills, including time management. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills e.g. influencing, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to communicate high level technical knowledge accurately and with impact. Ability to cover Ireland Full UK Driving licence
