Russell Oakley at CK Clinical is currently recruiting for a Hospital Sales Specialist on a permanent basis for a global pharmaceutical company. Out client is the leading oncology company with an impressive and innovative cancer portfolio. The company has a field based Hospital Sales Specialist vacancy in the North East working key accounts including Newcastle, Middlesborough and Durham hospitals. You will be required to successfully sell a novel anti-angiogenic biological treatment in colorectal and ovarian cancer to oncologists, pharmacists, clinical nurse specialists and other relevant customers in both the private sector and the NHS.

You will also be expected to: Develop strong business relationships in the NHS to increase the throughput of patients for treatment. Develop relationships with national and international key opinion leaders across colorectal and ovarian cancer. Work closely with existing colleagues for example - hospital sales specialists, marketing, medical, and portfolio development managers.

To be successful in this role, the following attributes are key: The ability to absorb and communicate complex data. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Strong desire to work in a team. Exceptional presentation skills. You are most likely to be either a recent graduate (with a scientific background and maybe even a postgraduate qualification), or have been a Medical Representative or worked in a Pharmaceutical company before. A track record in sales is desirable but not essential.
