Global Study Manager - Welwyn Garden City
Steve Lord is recruiting for a Global Study Manager to join a world leading pharmaceutical company at their site based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire on a 12 month contract basis.
The main purpose of the role will be to Provide the operational expertise and leadership to one or more clinical operations teams to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all operational aspects of one or more studies through all phases of Clinical Study Management (Plan, Initiate, Conduct, Close), in accordance with the appropriate quality standards including ICH/GCP and applicable regulations.
Further responsibilities will include: Provide direction and leadership to one or more clinical operations teams Contribute to the development and management of the study timelines, resources, budget, risk and quality plans Provide clinical operations expertise to ensure operational feasibility and delivery Oversee forecasting of clinical/non-clinical supplies Deliver the operational elements of the study plan Provide the day-to-day operational management of CROs and vendors to ensure delivery against contracted scope of work Identify areas of best practice and process improvements Ensure study adherence to ICH/GCP and SOPs
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Candidates must have significant global study management experience, including budget management and experience in both in-sourced and out-sourced studies. Will consider candidates from any therapy area background. Will only consider candidates with max notice period of 1 month.
