CK Clinical are recruiting for Director, Regulatory Affairs to join a Global leading Biotechnology company. The role will work within oncology and lead the regulatory strategy across Europe. A true chance to innovate and lead. This role is to be based in Uxbridge or Cambridge with flexible home working available.

Director, Regulatory Affairs Oncology Role:

  • Provide management and leadership to the Regulatory Affairs team by advising/defining the development and execution of regulatorystrategy.
  • Provide strategic oversight to European Regulatory Leads.
  • Lead Health Authority interactions.
  • Build internal and external networks with key stakeholders to influence regulatory outcomes.
  • Influence and shape the external regulatory environment.

Your Background:

  • Degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Extensive experience in Regulatory Affairs within a pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven track record of developing regional regulatory strategy with the ability to lead innovation.
  • Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Oncology is strongly preferred.
  • In depth working experience with and knowledge of European Regulations

Location:

Central London with a blend of office based and remote working. There may also be some business travel

Your Background:

  • BSc minimum – ideally candidates will hold an advanced degree (e.g., PharmD., MD, PhD)
  • Oncologyexperience within a pharmaceutical/bio-tech company (medical department/non-promotional)
  • Sufficient scientific expertise to understand the oncology therapy area in terms of emerging scientific trends, drug development, market demands and patient needs.
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs and forming networks
  • Demonstrate flair, enthusiasm, innovation and an ability to be a self-starter.
  • Low ego with strong EQ skills – able to network and interact with very senior global oncologists and endear them to the Ellipses mission
