Clinical Safety Scientist in Uxbridge
Jennifer Woolley is currently recruiting for a Clinical Safety Scientist to join a global Pharmaceutical company for up to 6 months. Though the contract is unlikely to be extended our client is keen to hear of candidates who would like to become permanently employed by them. The role will be based in Uxbridge.

Situated close to Heathrow Airport in West London, it is home for roles within clinical safety, clinical data, conversion leads, programming, regulatory and more. It's a location that combines excellent transport links with the M4 and M25 motorways and Heathrow Airport a few minutes away. A choice of railway and tube stations, extensive bus networks plus ample parking provides a coordinated transport hub to connect to the park.
The Clinical Safety Scientist will carry out the following duties within the HIV TA:
- Support ongoing submissions with PV activities.
- Writing PSURs.
- Writing periodic reports.
- Signal Detection activities.
- Administrative activities , for self and on behalf of Clinical Safety Group.
- Assistance with International Spontaneous Reports Group activities as required and authorized by line manager.
- Researching new raw data ae terms, mapping of raw data ae terms to dictionary codes and coding conventions.
To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience carrying out similar PV duties, be a self-starter who can work in a smaller team of up to 10 members, whilst supporting a larger TA team of up to 30 members. The Clinical Safety Scientist should be a confident communicator, written and verbally with strong document writing skills. Experience within the HIV TA is advantageous.
