Honeyman Group Downsize in Order for Effective Market Growth

Teesdale based pharmaceutical company; the Honeyman Group is downsizing in order to be able to bounce back upon full economic recovery, reports the Teesdale Mercury.

The company, which works in the pharmaceutical industry, providing support and advice, blames having to make “a small number of redundancies” on Pfizer’s closing of their plant in Kent.

Jamie Collis, spokesperson for Honeyman, has said the company is “committed to Barnard Castle,” the town which Honeyman is based in and in which the redundancies are being made. The Honeyman company has made a statement saying that it is confident the UK market will recover and that therefore by retaining a core unit to run the base of operations in Barnard Castle, the Group will be able to return stronger and react positively to future UK market changes.
