Whether you are a CRA looking for a new role or an employer seeking new CRAs to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential as the pharmaceutical jobs market in the UK moves incredibly fast.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many CRA jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. As always, there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary for week commencing the 28th June 2016 relates to CRA vacancies posted on:
- New Scientist
- CV Library
- Willey job network
- Access Science jobs.
Our results showed that on these job boards a total of 707 CRA jobs were published in the last week:
- 596 permanent roles
- 111 contract roles
CRA recruitment has followed the anticipated trend that has been emerging since the results of the Brexit Referendum were announced. There has been a small decline in the total volume of advertised roles which has directly affected the permanent market with employers responding to the new uncertainty by halting recruitment and expansion. In contrast contract roles are climbing, with a steady 4% increasing roles so far. We will be continuing to monitor development so to provide job seeking CRA’s with advice and guidance in regard to their career.
