Whether you are a CRA looking for a new role or an employer seeking new CRAs to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential as the pharmaceutical jobs market in the UK moves incredibly fast.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many CRA jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. As always, there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary for week commencing the 27th September 2016 relates to CRA vacancies posted on:
- New Scientist
- CV Library
- Willey job network
- Access Science jobs.
Our results showed that on these job boards a total of 668 CRA jobs were published in the last week:
- 576 permanent roles
- 92 contract roles
For the third week in a row we seeing a growth in clinical research jobs, with a 5% growth on last weeks numbers. Permanent jobs have once again increased, with a further 39 jobs added which continues to support the growing trend of growth within the life science sector. However there has also been a 6% decline in interim roles. We hope that the emerging pattern of recruitment continues over the next week, and that the demand for interim roles starts to grow.
