Each week CK Clinical tries to give you a picture of the state of the CRA jobs market in the UK. Whether you are a CRA looking for a new role or an employer seeking new CRAs to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential as the pharmaceutical jobs market in the UK moves incredibly fast.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many CRA jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. As always, there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary for week commencing the 1st of June 2015 relates to CRA vacancies posted on:
- New Scientist
- CV Library
- Willey job network
- Access Science jobs.
Our results showed that on these job boards a total of 810 CRA jobs were published in the last week, compared to 998 the week before with:
- 700 permanent roles
- 110 contract roles
Following another record high in the number of CRA jobs posted, this week shows in a small decline. This fluctuation is very normal with such a high volume of jobs but 2015 is still proving to be a really good year for CRA’s! With just an 18% drop, we expect to see these clinical jobs returning to their normal levels next week.
