Whether you are a CRA looking for a new role or an employer seeking new CRAs to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential as the pharmaceutical jobs market in the UK moves incredibly fast.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many CRA jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. As always, there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary for week commencing the 14th June 2016 relates to CRA vacancies posted on:
- New Scientist
- CV Library
- Willey job network
- Access Science jobs.
Our results showed that on these job boards a total of 705 CRA jobs were published in the last week:
- 590 permanent roles
- 115 contract roles
The number of advertised clinical research jobs rose again this week, continuing to defy the behaviours we have monitored in our other recruitment divisions. Whilst it has grown by only a small percent, with interim staffing in the most demand, it represents positivity in the clinical market place where in others there is greater hesitancy around the recruitment process. It will be interesting to see if clinical recruitment continues to succeed following the EU referendum next week.
