Each week CK Clinical tries to give you a picture of the state of the CRA jobs market in the UK. Whether you are a CRA looking for a new role or an employer seeking new CRAs to join your team, keeping up to date with industry news that impacts you is essential as the pharmaceutical jobs market in the UK moves incredibly fast.
Our tracking is based on each week screening some of the UKs leading vacancy boards for how many CRA jobs have been advertised within the last 7 days. As always, there is likely to be some repetition across jobs boards and some duplicate posting but our goal is to build up a picture of trends over time.
This week’s summary for week commencing the 10th of August 2015 relates to CRA vacancies posted on:
- New Scientist
- CV Library
- Willey job network
- Access Science jobs.
Our results showed that on these job boards a total of 914 CRA jobs were published in the last week, compared to 1012 the week before with:
- 749 permanent roles
- 165 contract roles
98 CRA jobs have fallen off the radar this week, following the exceptionally positive results last week. This fall largely affects the permanent clinical research associate positions which fell by over 100, where as contract jobs have grown. This could be a seasonal adjustment or just the market behaving in what has become a very typical fluctuating manner.
