Earlier this week, CK Clinical, the specialist pharmaceutical recruitment consultancy, attended the PIPA Conference 2010 at the Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel in Gloucestershire.
The Conference was a great success and provided a great opportunity for members and non-members to network and share ideas. Highlights of the scientific programme included the following:
- A debate chaired by PIPA President, Sarah Dunnett, entitled ‘This House Believes That Patient Care Will Be Enhanced by Pharma Being Involved in Social Media’.
- A presentation by Janet Davies of Gilead, entitled ‘Pharmaceutical Alliances: Providing Effective Medical Information Services.’
- A presentation by Sharon Leighton of Sharon Leighton Consultancy, entitled ‘Opportunity or Threat? Benchmarking Medical Information for PIPA.’ Click here to read interview with Sharon covering what it is like to be a Medical Affairs Professional.
As well as the wealth of presentations and workshops attended, the CK Clinical Team also got into the party spirit at the much anticipated Wild West Evening on Monday night.
CK Clinical also ran a prize draw to win an Apple iPod Touch – the lucky winner being a Head of Medical information – congratulations to you!
We look forward to seeing you all there next year!
