CK to attend RQA’s 2018 Annual Conference

CK will be exhibiting at the RQA’s 2018 Annual Conference that will be held at the award-winning Manchester Central from 31 October to 2 November.

The theme this year is ‘Data and Quality: Is the tail wagging the dog?’ This year’s conference will include presentations, case studies, clinics, debates and, for the first time, all-new ‘fringe’ sessions, where more informal discussions will be held in a roundtable environment. The programme includes representation by the MHRA, as well as a range of presentations on hot topics such as Data Integrity and GDPR.

Jim Gleeson and Ben Traies will be attending the event and exhibiting at stand number 30. They will be happy to talk to you about your career path or future roles. They will also have an array of promo goodies so be sure to pop by the stand if you are attending this event.

The CK New Scientist Live Careers Hub

We were delighted to be the Official Recruitment Sponsors at New Scientist Live at the ExCeL in London in September.

What an event it was, from the Mars Rover, the Slime Olympics to Tim Peake’s talk, it was incredible.  Thank you to everyone who came to the New Scientist Jobs and CK Group Careers Hub.

We were overwhelmed with how many people wanted careers advice, many of whom are aspiring scientists as well as people working in the industry already.

Many people wanted advice as to the best route into industry, what to do after their education and quite a lot brought their own CV’s to the careers hub for improvement tips.

This week we have a fantastic role for a Regulatory Medical Writer to join a thriving and expanding life sciences consultancy at their site in Buckinghamshire. We have chosen this job as job of the week as it is:

  • A unique and rare opportunity to join a very successful consultancy with a friendly, flexible and informal working environment with the chance to work on diverse and interesting projects.
  • The role will have a focus on Oncology, Haematology and Orphan Diseases, delivering high-quality regulatory writing, including the authoring of Clinical Summaries, Briefing Documents and Paediatric Investigation Plans.
  • Candidates must have extensive experience of Regulatory Writing and ideally have a strong academic background – PhD or similar with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good working knowledge of healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.
