Biofocus in Charity Collaboration

Biofocus and the Michael J. Fox Foundation have entered into a research collaboration, reports pharma-mag.com.

The agreement is based around developing new treatments for Parkinson’s Disease, with Biofocus doing several things, including fragment-based screening, in order to identify compounds to form a basis for new diagnostic tests for Parkinson’s.

Dr Kate Hilyard, VP Biological Sciences, has said that “The collaboration will utilize BioFocus’ biology platform that delivers drug discovery solutions through its experienced teams and state-of-the-art technologies.”
