Maintenance Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join a chemical company at their site based in Wigan on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of polymers and resins. The company offers a salary in the rangeof £45,000-£50,000pa depending on experience, as well as 25 days' holiday, pension and healthcare.

This role is located at our client's site in Wigan.

Maintenance Manager Role:

Your main duties will be:

• To ensure theeffectiveness of the maintenance department.
• To ensure works are carried out to minimise plant downtime.
• Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance to legislation and company HSEQ standards.
• To foster a positive environment within theengineering team.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

• A relevant engineering qualification and significant experience within manufacturing.
• Excellent management or supervisory experience within engineering maintenance.
• Prior experience in manufacturing is essential, ideally in chemical manufacturing or a similar process industry.
• Knowledge of COMAH/ ATEX regulations would be highly desirable.
