Interim Supply Chain Manager

CK Group are recruiting for an Interim Supply Chain Manager to join a chemical company at their site based in Hull on an initial 6-month direct contract.

The Company:

Our client has developed and now manufacturers renewable bio-plastics.

Salary:

circa £50.000-£60.000 per annum DOE.

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Hull. The role is hybrid but will require regular travel to visit vendors and partners.

Interim Supply Chain Manager Role:

Your main duties will be:

• Selection and implementation of a new ERP system.
• Setting up warehousing and logistics solutions.
• Setting up purchasing processes.
• Ensuring batch traceability, order traceability and quality control.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

• Strong experience in supply chain management in chemical manufacturing.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems, logistics and warehousing for chemicals and raw materials.
•  Prior experience in the vendor tendering process.
• Experience sourcing new partners and negotiating contracts.
