Operations Manager - Medical Affairs
Switzerland
6 month assignment
Job Purpose
Responsible for planning and tracking of key GMAT activities (timelines, budgets, study/activities, progress updates, contracts, regular reporting) of oneor more brands.
Major Activities
Global Medical Affairs Team (GMAT) Project Management.
Ability to develop/execute operational plans for GMA activities in co-operation with respective GMAT members, within a given brand.
Responsible to drive efficiency in GMAT operations and improve productivity by taking minutes and tracking action items and their timelines of key meetings, lead preparation of internal reports to GMA, IFB, and other internal cross-functional teams as required.
Manage operational aspects of complex ad-hoc activities as dictated by brand needs, requiring co-ordination of cross-functional or external parties.
Follow- up contract set-up and maintenance with internal and external parties involved (in cooperation with sourcing and respective GMAT members).
Ideal Background
Bachelors degree preferably in life science and business management training or experience
Fluent English (oral and written)
Experience / Professional Requirements:
4 years experience in a multidisciplinary environment or in line function (drug development)
Basic-level knowledge of basic science and basic understanding of global drug development process
Advanced planning and tracking skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects in early or late phase
Well-organized, excellent time management with respect to priorities and self-management
Strong interpersonal skills and advanced team player with demonstrated ability^to build collaborative relationships
Quick action taker. Involves the right team members in the right situation at the right time.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly numerate and logical thinker
