Are you an experienced GMC registered Medic seeking a new challenge?
Do you posses the skills and expertise to adapt to working across 7 different cultures?
If so, then this role could be ideal for you.
As the Head of Medical for this leading Pharmaceutical company in Hertfordshire you will lead a team of talented medical affairs staff.
You will be responsible for 2 key therapeutic areas including Oncology and sepsis and will occupy^a varied role dealing with Phase III compounds, Early Phase Compounds and Marketed Products
Phase III compounds:
· Close collaboration with commercial to jointly produce and execute strategic pre-launch plan.
· Collaboration with Global Medical Marketing Services on Global launch plan for European region.
· Medical support for European market & opportunity assessment.
· Publication Planning.
· Define and implement European Key Opinion Leader strategy.
· European Advisory Boards.
· European life cycle management.
· Collaboration with Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research to maximise European market access and reimbursement.
· Adaptation of Global core materials for Europe.
· Preparation of European affiliates for launch.
· Content development and execution for relevant European congresses.
Early Phase Compounds
· Provide EU strategic counsel on drug development programmes.
· Establish appropriate EU KOL network to support clinical development programmes.
Marketed compounds
· Medical Affairs support for brand tactics such as campaign / materials updates.
· Copy Approval of core European materials.
· Support for Investigator Initiated Studies.
· Management of company sponsored Phase IV studies.
· Management of publication planning.
· Medical input into content development for symposia, workshops, advisory boards.
· Key Opinion Leader Development.
· Medical support for life cycle management, label variations, safety issues.
· Matrix working with commercial, regulatory, safety, clinical, public relations, manufacturing departments.
