Drug Safety is indeed a very intriguing and highly sensitive area for any pharmaceutical company. Hence, it is very important that only people who actually like this area should be put to this work. I work as a drug/patient safety resource for a leading pharma company and enjoy doing my job. The sense of responsibility gives the boost to remain on tows and enjoy doing your work.

Some of these are insane, bringing your mother to the interview?! (For what exactly?)

Chatting up the interviewer?!

Answering your pone/ texting?!

Those are pretty extreme i should hope. Craziness aside, it's pretty difficult to pick just one faux pas but i think above all else the one thing on its own that would stop me from offering a job would have to be...

Not showing up and not calling to reschedule.

The others can be balanced out, but this has to be the biggest sign of complete disinterest, lack of commitment, and poor professionalism.

How about an alert that the "bad interviewer" role could be just a front?

in my opinion ;
1 •	"Not having the appropriate interview appearance"
2nd: •	Speaking negatively about a former employer"

well asking the salary package details before knowing the future job responibilities is also not good:

In reading your article, it's ironic that we look at these points and say to ourselves, "Surely no one would make that mistake".
Apparently, these "faux pas" still occur frequently enough to warrant a reminder! Thanks.
