This is a masters qualified candidate with a very strong Pharmacovigilance background covering Manager and Director level roles. This impressive candidate is also skilled in managing teams, supporting regional activities (including electronic reporting of adverse drug reactions) and acting as a process owner for Periodic Reporting Globally.

This Head of Drug Safety also has extensive experience of:

• Working with other Regional Heads on the strategies and implementation to ensure compliance with Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities in the Operating Companies
• Playing a role in helping recruit and train Local Safety Officers in the OCs
• Working with Operating Companies throughout the whole process from the audit/inspection preparation through to completion of the CAPA  reports
• Participating in Leadership Teams to set and achieve the strategic objectives and the specific goals and objectives
• Acting as process owner for Periodic Reporting Globally (including PSURs, PADERs, INDs, Clinical Investigator Brochures, EU Annual Reports and Ethic Review Board Line listings)
• Providing regular PV updates for products
