• First and foremost make sure you have a presence on Linkedin- If you’re not on Linkedin, then you’re simply not around.
• Use it! Use it for status updates and build up your network and establish your professional credibility.
• Join Groups – Some interesting groups which you may be interested in include the MedComms Forum, DIA, Medical Information Services & Communication.
• Build your network – if you meet people at conferences and events, make sure you connect with them on Linkedin.

Dangers and Challenges of Social Media

• Make sure you explore the privacy settings on your profile.
• Be careful about what you post up.
